02.22.2011 - Training

It's a truism in BJJ that the moves work - you just have to have faith in them.

De La Riva Guard Work:

Lasso Sweep
- lasso needs to be over elbow
- bridge and drive leg across chest (deeper the better)
- berimbolo to the back if there

De La Riva Passing:

Leg Drag
- elbow knee (near hand controlling opponent's free leg)
- back step and step over (using far arm to control DLR hook)
- leg drag leg across hip

Other DLR passing from Monday:
- pivot on heel to turn foot out
- drive and work staple pass
