Woke up at 5:40am to run this morning. Running in the morning is tough! I can handle doing weights in the morning but running is a whole 'nother story. I don't know if it's just me, but running in the cold is tough as heck. My chest hurts and I find my breathing pattern hard to control. Not sure if it's the cold weather or me paying the price for pigging out during Thanksgiving.
Anyways, onto my run. I ran 4 miles around the neighborhood with lots and lots of hills.
34:40
8:40/mile
1st mile - 7:42
2nd mile - 8:10
3rd mile - 9:14
4th mile - 9:34
I think I'm gonna stick to this morning run since it has a lot of hills. Hopefully I can get my time down by January.
One thing I'm noticing now is my right knee has been pestering me the last two times I've gone out and ran. I'm thinking it's a really bad bone bruise, but who knows...praying it's nothing more.
