Went to the gym at lunch to get some rolling in. Ended up rolling with Thomas and Mike. Mike had me work with Thomas and make sure he continually was trying to escape from the side mount and mount. Rolled with Mike too.

  • Start letting people pass so I can work my escapes. Try not so much beating them to the punch, but let them establish side and then work your escape. I figure only way I'll get better is to keep getting stuck in that situation.
  • Keep working the side mount control. Maybe work more on the physio ball to get my hip movement better.

Hopefully Thursday I can pick Mike's brain about half guard and more guard passing.
