Went to the gym today for some training and it turns out Mike changed the schedule on me. Thursdays' are now officially no-gi days. Just goes to show when was the last time I went to the gym on a Thursday.
Anyways, Mike asked us what submission we would like to get good at and practice for the next 5 or 6 months. I decided upon the rear-naked choke. My problem has always been maintaining the back position. Which is where the half-pack comes into play. I do believe getting the back a lot of the times means turning up the speed and creating lots and lots of scrambles.
