7am class (gi)



- sleeve control
- slide one knee in
- push knee and pull other wrist
- chop with other leg
- butt scout out
- control hip and finish

Take the back

- open when opponent straightens arm
- control sleeve
- slide far leg in (establish hook)
- hop over to take back

Sweep (roll under them)

- opponent grabs own belt
- must be parallel w/ opponent
- near arm slides across their belly (not through their grip but under)
- extend legs and sweep
- as if rolling under them
- variation, grab foot and sweep (difficult when opponent has good base)
- use butt scoot to lure them in and then sweep

Notes from rolling:

- keep working hip bump to triangle transition, try and get faster at it
