Posture #1 - "Underhooks"
- establish underhook
- outside leg should not be high (not @ opponent's head --> sweeps)
- on toes
- head same side as body
Posture #2 - "Crossface"
- shoulder pressure, arm under head (crossface)
- turn hips in, reverse keysa gatame (trap bottom leg)
- on toes
- make sure opponent is on back
- don't let half guard run high
- use head to defeat underhook
Posture #3 - "Position 1"
- similar to "crossface", armpit is over the head (grab belt)
- turn hips in, reverse keysa gatame
- move hips high to rest on opponent's chest
- weight is back
Posture #4 - "Opponent has underhooks"
- underook opponent's other arm and flatten em
- reverse keysa gatame
- work to underhook both arms
Pass #1 - "Wrestler's Cradle" (12:08)
- crossface posture - chest to chest
- push leg and throw arm between legs
- grab on lapel, as high as possible and cradle
- overhook other arm, grabbing belt
- kick legs back and bring hips down
Pass #2 - "Kimura vs Deep Half" (17:58)
- push down on chin using lapel
- hop over and sit
- attack kimura
- if opponent rolls up look for the switch and take the back
Pass #3 - "Attack legs vs Deep Half" (20:55)
- push down on chin using lapel
- hop over and sit on chest
- grab far leg - make sure enough separation and leg is not as deep in half guard
- can triangle legs to lock in
- straight ankle on far leg
- knee bar and toe hold on near leg
Pass #4 - "Weave pass vs Deep Half" (23:53)
- push down on chin using lapel
- grab and control top leg
- post and create separation
- turn in and sit on legs, hips heavy
- grab bottom leg (weave arm)
- move weight into him when passing
Pass #5 - "Opponent has Underhooks" (26:54)
- push on hips (underhook side)
- underhook other arm and flatten em
- reverse keysa and on toes
- work for both underhooks
- mount or knee slide pass
