Upa

Upa revisited:

Fundamentals:
- move both legs at the same time
- turn head and bridge
- sprawl to pass

1. Basic
- outside palm up
- bring to center line, block knee w/ elbow
- bridge and sprawl

2. Head control
- pull down on shoulders
- turn head and bridge
- sprawl

3. Double underhook
- overhook
- push down knee and walk
- bridge when they come back
- sprawl

4. Collar defense
- defend one collar
- control their wrist when they slip under
- pull down on head, be sure to turn their face by grabbing at the jawline
- bridge and sprawl

5. Heel hook / X-Guard
- frame
- elbow inside knee
- bump and keep them up w/ frame
- insert knee

Other notes:

Knee bar
- control at the heel
- RNC position if necessary
- use head and shoulder to pinch

Guard Passing
- reintroduce the over the shoulder pass
- transition between 103 - over the shoulder - 101
- keep moving between
